DICOMReader/PRO allows you to import medical imaging studies and reports received from removable data carriers like CD, DVD or USB storage devices into a picture archiving and communication system (PACS), e.g. iQ-WEB, or a DICOM viewer, e.g. iQ-VIEW/PRO.

Find out what's new in DICOMReader/PRO 6.0.

The software is available in two editions. The BASIC edition - DICOMReader - can scan external media and send them either manually or automatically into the local PACS. It also provides simple manual reconciliation options that allow you to adjust external patient information to the information used in your local systems or to de-identify imported data through anonymization. The DICOMReader PRO edition further automates processes like patient reconciliation and data modification and allows to select specific data for processing and transfer into your PACS.

Patient Reconciliation
With DICOMReader/PRO you can manually match patient IDs and accession numbers of studies with locally used identifiers. This increases the compatibility and consistency of data. DICOMReader PRO even allows such modifications via DICOM Modality Worklist or by querying the target PACS.

Data Distribution
DICOMReader/PRO can forward imported data to other stations based on a rich set of rules. For the data transfer, the images can be sent in uncompressed or also in compressed form in order to speed up the transmission. DICOMReader/PRO only uses forms of compression that do not affect the diagnostic quality of the images provided on the media.

Certified quality and reliable service
DICOMReader/PRO is CE and FDA 510(k) certified and complies with the DICOM standard. The application can handle virtually all medical image types and is compatible with every DICOM compliant PACS, regardless of the manufacturer.
