iQ-ROUTER 5.0 now with automatic prefetching and improved performance
We are happy to announce that the first iQ product certified under the new Medical Device Regulation (MDR) is now available.
With the release of iQ-ROUTER 5.0, we have taken the development of our solution for image compression, teleradiology and remote workflow management one step further towards more efficiency. Check out below which additions have been made to this new version and what benefits they bring for you and your customers.
What’s new in iQ-ROUTER 5.0?
Automatic prefetching
Save time by letting iQ-ROUTER search for you for relevant previous studies of a patient and automatically send them to the workstation whenever data is sent through iQ-ROUTER. In addition, you can use various filters to define what you consider a relevant study.
Performance improvements
Time is money and in medicine it can also mean saving lives. With this version, faster transmission speeds can be achieved when sending many small images to iQ-ROUTER over the network. This means that you now have to wait less time before you can start working. For example, sending 850 uncompressed CT images over the network to iQ-ROUTER took about 28 seconds in version 4; with version 5 it just takes around 17 seconds.
Better overview of the status of forward jobs
New counters in the user interface of iQ-ROUTER Monitor now inform you directly about the amount of pending, processing, or failed forward jobs.
Distribution of iQ-ROUTER further ensured by compliance with the EU’s Medical Device Regulation
With version 5.0, iQ-ROUTER has not only become a component of the medical device iQ-SYSTEM PACS along with iQ-VIEW, iQ-WEB and iQ-4VIEW, but also compliant with the Medical Device Regulation (EU) 2017/745 (MDR). What does this mean? The MDR compliance ensures that the software can still be distributed and further developed under highest quality standards and in accordance with applicable guidelines.
