Product discontinuations to come in 2022
With every new software version we release and put on the market throughout a year, we also need to decide which older product versions can be left behind in order to avoid increased medical device regulatory efforts.
For this purpose, we check our product version inventory once per year to determine the software versions to be discontinued the year after. This allows us to limit expenditures and to keep service package fees stable. But it also ensures that your customers stay up-to-date with the latest and most secure products and can provide best healthcare services to their patients.
In 2022, the following product versions will reach their end of life and will not be supported by us anymore starting from October 1, 2022:
- iQ-ROUTER/PRO/PREMIUM 3.0 and 3.1
- iQ-ROBOT/PRO/PREMIUM 3.1
- iQ-WEB 6.6.2 and 6.7.1
- iQ-4VIEW 2.1
Be aware that we will neither provide support, nor activations, migrations or replacement licenses for the abovementioned products from that date onwards. In case your customers are still using one of these products, we strongly recommend taking action now and use the remaining months to update them to the latest version. To protect your customersâ medical networks from hacker attacks and malicious software, it is essential to only use the latest software versions and operating systems.
