IMAGE Information Systems participates in GAIA-MED project to improve healthcare through collaboration and AI
The cooperation between different medical technology companies, science and individual clinics in the region of Northern Germany currently pursues one common goal within the GAIA-MED project - the establishment of a secure and networked data and service infrastructure in the healthcare sector.
The infrastructure to be created forms the basis for the development of intelligent (AI-supported) solutions to derive, among other things, recommendations by means of decision-making and support systems for better patient care based on legacy and sample data.
The project â which started on June 1st, 2022 â is technically based on the GAIA-X digital data infrastructure (currently under development across Europe) and is considered an essential part of the development of future healthcare 4.0. Funded by the state of Schleswig-Holstein, the project is further part of the KI-Med ecosystem, which is being created in the area around Lübeck.
