IMAGE and ALSTOR cooperate on Polish PACS market

PACS provider IMAGE Information Systems has signed a strategic partnership agreement with the Polish distributor ALSTOR.

Rostock, Germany and Warsaw, Poland, February 4, 2022.

IMAGE and ALSTOR agreed on February 1, 2022, to have ALSTOR exclusively distribute IMAGE's iQ-VIEW – the radiology reading station – in Poland from now on. The sales potential of iQ-VIEW has been further increased by the announced end of life of the eFilm Workstation, as the similarity in user interface allows for easy migration from eFilm to iQ-VIEW. ALSTOR will also promote and service iQ-SYSTEM PACS – the easily configurable, highly scalable image archiving and communication system.

ALSTOR is one of the largest independent medical imaging resellers in Poland with a strong nationwide distribution network. The successful medical focus of the company is reflected in the fact that ALSTOR complies with two ISO standards that are important for the medical market (ISO 9001:2015 and 13485:2016). IMAGE Information Systems is the largest independent RIS-PACS manufacturer in Germany. Both companies are privately owned and not dependent on any global manufacturer.

ALSTOR's CEO Adam Zwierzynski believes the agreement is an important step in ALSTOR's over 35-year history of providing a complete imaging solution to its customers: "In the past, ALSTOR has always been more successful with vendors that had a clear market and technology focus, so the future with IMAGE looks very promising.”

Dr. Arpad Bischof, CEO of IMAGE, is also very pleased with the successful conclusion of the strategic partnership: "I am proud to have found such an experienced partner in our neighboring country Poland after long negotiations.”
