Secure data sharing with iQ-WEB UPLOADER 1.1
Patient and physician upload portal for easy data storage and sharing
Uploading data to a PACS for storage or sharing has never been that easy – for both physicians and patients. All it takes is a web browser and an internet connection. And iQ-WEB UPLOADER 1.1. This web application allows healthcare professionals and patients to easily transfer medical images or relevant photos and documents to iQ-WEB 6.7.3.4 using any internet-enabled device.
iQ-WEB UPLOADER 1.1 can be used as:
Patient data entry portal: Patients can easily upload their medical images and documents with just a few clicks (prior to their admission or consultation of a remote imaging specialist).
Physician data entry portal: Physicians have the possibility to share, distribute and exchange complementary patient history information and symptoms, medical test results, imaging and reporting results, medical documents etc. (prior to their patient’s admission or consultation of a remote imaging specialist).
Portal for teleradiology and medical teleconsulting centers Studies can be uploaded to the PACS for remote reading purposes.
What’s new in iQ-WEB UPLOADER 1.1?
Simultaneous upload of studies
Upload multiple studies of one patient at the same time. Any DICOM studies and reports as well as non-DICOM data (like photos or documents) are automatically converted to a PACS-supported format.
WADO link sharing via a built-in email client
The uploading person and the chosen recipient will receive a secure WADO link and can now use this link to access the uploaded imaging data on the recipient’s archive themselves or securely share the information with further parties.
Time-saving authorization code feature
The PACS owner decides who is allowed to upload any data to their system by providing the uploading person with the generic link to the iQ-WEB UPLOADER web interface. He may also provide an additional authorization code (e.g. ID1234) that can help him to identify the uploading person or entity. If this code is entered during study upload, the application will write this code into every one of the stored and created DICOM files (either as “Study ID” or as “Accession Number”, depending on the PACS owner’s configuration). This provides an additional option of organizing, filtering and searching for the uploaded imaging data within iQ-WEB.
