The University of Michigan Health System and its academic medical center at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor has selected the concurrent user floating license model of iQ-VIEW PRO for 500 workstation users to access the highly favored DICOM viewing software across its various institutions. iQ-VIEW PRO offers a perfect viewing platform for their review procedures while also providing them with a means to manage images from external sources through the image import functionality.
The University of Michigan Health System has been a longtime user of IMAGE Information Systems’ products under the management of Michigan X-Ray. Previously, they had purchased a multitude of iQ-VIEW PRO PC based licenses which had become cumbersome to manage and maintain due to hardware challenges in the field. These PC dependent licenses were transitioned into iQ-VIEW PRO concurrent licenses with this purchase.
Now using the concurrent license method, the University of Michigan Health System’s IT department can easily manage individual licenses from a single point of service and can initiate hardware changes without affecting any iQ-VIEW PRO access by the busy staff. The University of Michigan team has been pleased with the outcome of this transition and the administrative freedom it has given them.
