iQ IMAGE and aycan offer free RIS to new customers
system and offer designed to support small imaging centers and grow business
Rostock, Germany and Rochester, New York, October 5, 2022. IMAGE Information Systems (iQ IMAGE), headquartered in Rostock, Germany, and reseller partner, aycan Medical Systems, headquartered in Rochester, N.Y., are offering a free license of Windows-based iQ-RIS as a way to introduce new customers to the joint product portfolio while helping them offset rising operating costs.
Able to support up to three concurrent users, iQ-RIS is ideal for small imaging centers, small hospitals (with the purchase of additional licenses), and for customers unsure which vendor to choose. "A RIS is important in managing the workflow efficiently, but most are very expensive," explained Dr. Arpad Bischof, a radiologist, and Director of IMAGE Information Systems Europe. "The cost, coupled with the current economic situation, makes it difficult for smaller centers to obtain one right now, which is why we decided to make this offer."
The offer is part of the expanding reseller relationship between the two global leaders in medical imaging, designed to help them accelerate business growth and expand their combined footprint. "A free RIS is a way to introduce customers to our combined portfolio of advanced solutions that improve quality and productivity while lowering costs," said Mike Jensen, Director of IMAGE Information Systems' North American operations. Frank Burkhardt, aycan Director, North & Latin American Operations, added, "iQ IMAGE's RIS and complete Windows-based portfolio complements the aycan Mac and Linux-based solutions, enabling our companies to offer customers solutions for a complete workflow."
The vendor-neutral Windows-based iQ-RIS is a flexible radiology information system (RIS) that can be easily customized to meet the requirements of any hospital or imaging center with minimal resources. It offers superb tools, including patient scheduling, for optimizing the radiological workflow and can be integrated with almost any PACS. iQ-RIS can manage an unlimited number of devices, procedures, and patients with up to three concurrent users, making it ideal for small imaging centers or hospitals.
The product is available for free download through the iQ IMAGE and aycan websites and is open to all new customers from now until June 30, 2023, with a limit of one per customer. The free license does not expire, and free software patches will be made available. Although not required for installation, technical service and support is available from iQ IMAGE following normal company rate structures.
